Westside Baptist Continues Dynamic Growth

Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas has experienced dynamic growth since the church was founded in 1983.  In the past 21 years, the church has continued to expand to meet the needs of the community.  In June of 2004, Westside Baptist again stepped “Forward by Faith” and construction began on a new Worship Center. 

This beautiful facility is designed and constructed by Century Builders in Houston, Texas.  The new auditorium is designed with a sloped floor and cascade seating for 1700 people. Other features include two video screens, theatrical lighting and sound systems.  The large stage area has a baptistery, orchestra pit and a choir loft for 104 performers. A passageway provides easy access from the stage to the choir practice room.

Reverend Kenneth W. Blake serves as the Senior Pastor of Westside Baptist Church. He and his wife Venita have ministered to the members of the Westside Baptist Church since 1989.

Century’s Project Manager for Westside is Dusty Eggleston.  Emory Johnson is the Superintendent and Quentin Harbert is the Assistant Superintendent.  The building project is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2005.
