For the past 48 years, the dynamic ministry of Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia has been led by Pastor Rastus Salter.  In May of 2004, Pastor Salter celebrated his 80th birthday in a new, 2,000 seat Worship Center designed and constructed by Century Builders.

Just as Second Baptist is no ordinary ministry, the new facility is no ordinary church auditorium. It was custom designed by Century to accommodate a large, lavish Passion Play that has been presented by the church every Easter season for the past 20 years.  The annual production became so popular in the community that Second Baptist had to rent the Warner Robins Civic Center in order to meet the seating demands.  With the newly completed Worship Center this is no longer necessary. Special features of this exciting design include a combination of five motor-controlled theatrical curtains, two separate sound and lighting booths and two catwalks. The stage has retractable choir risers, a performance balcony and a raised alcove for production versatility.
